Work 101: Download Grammarly Premium

Have you ever struggled with writing? Chapman provides Grammarly Premium free of charge to all faculty, staff and students on a personally-owned device or a Chapman-owned computer. Grammarly is a service that suggests grammar, spelling and style improvements and corrections to pieces of writing. Grammarly can even check for plagiarism.

To Create a New Account:

  1. Go https://www.grammarly.com/edu/
  2. Click “Join Your Organization” at the top right corner.
  3. Complete the form, using your:
    • Name (First & Last)
    • Chapman University email address (username@chapman.edu)
    • Chapman University account password
      • Same password used to access your email account.
  4. Click Sign-up.
  5. Check your email (Inbox and spam folder) for a confirmation email and click the Verify Email link inside. It will redirect you to the right page for the next step.
  6. Enjoy using Grammarly Premium!
  7. Download the Apps (see section below)

If You Already Have an Account:

If you already have a free Grammarly account associated with your Chapman email:

  1. Logout of your Individual account 
  2. Go to the Grammarly Enteprise site and log in to your account again.
  3. Download the Apps (see section below)

To make sure you get the most out of Grammarly, we have some additional helpful features for Microsoft Word, Internet browsers, emails, and the desktop. You can install all the components.
