The new dean of Chapman University’s Argyros School of Business and Economics has published an article in Developing Leaders Quarterly about the human side of CEOs.
Dean Henrik Cronqvist wrote “The Social CEO: Just Human After All” with Desiree-Jessica Pely, CEO and co-founder of loyee.io. Pely’s startup uses sales data to suggest courses of action to companies.
Cronqvist and Pely use research to show “how different life experiences have a measurable and demonstrable effect on (executives’) leadership styles.”
Cronqvist, who became dean of Argyros School in August, focuses his research on the behavior of executives and investors.
