Kyle Longley Named the Executive Director of the Society of Military History

Kyle Longley, Henry Salvatori Professor of American Values and Traditions and director of the War, Diplomacy, and Society program at Chapman University, has been named the new executive director of the Society of Military History (SMH). Established in 1933 with the goal of  advancing the study of military history, this United States–based international organization is comprised of scholars who research, write and teach military history of all time periods and places. It publishes The Journal of Military History.
