Jim Byron ’15 Elected President and CEO of Nixon Foundation

Chapman University alumnus Jim Byron ’15 has been elected president and CEO of the Nixon Foundation. Byron has worked for the foundation for nearly 15 years, having started as a marketing intern when still a teenager before coming to Chapman to major in business administration. His efforts include helping to raise funds for a major renovation of the Nixon Presidential Library in Yorba Linda, Calif.

Byron will replace Hugh Hewitt, a professor of law at Chapman’s Dale E. Fowler School of Law, who is stepping down after leading the foundation since mid-2019 and will remain on the Board of Directors. James Cavanaugh, Chairman of the Nixon Foundation Board of Directors, recently endowed a new chair in presidential studies at Chapman University
