Mark your calendars— International Women’s Day is Mar. 8! To celebrate, the Advisory Group on the Status of Women is hosting several events in collaboration with the Career and Professional Development Office, the Center for Global Education and Wilkinson College.
“I really hope people, and especially women, walk away from these events feeling empowered by the number of resources in the Chapman community, whether it be the women in leadership roles or the organizations that advocate for women. And if not, I hope they know the Women’s Advisory Group is here,” says Leanna Izen, one of the co-chairs of the Advisory Group on the Status of Women.
All individuals are invited to wear purple on International Women’s Day, Thursday, Mar. 8, to show their support of women.
