On #GivingTuesday, Share the Panther Spirit

Thanksgiving is over and the holiday shopping season is upon us. But before the festivities swing into full gear, there’s still time to make a difference in someone’s life with a charitable donation.

Giving Tuesday is an international day of charitable action, first established in 2012. Last year, worldwide donations totaled $4M for a single day, with many participants spreading the word across social media using the hashtag #givingtuesday. It’s a worldwide movement that celebrates generosity, compassion and community.

If you’re planning on participating in Giving Tuesday, please consider supporting the Chapman Fund. 80% of students who attend Chapman rely on scholarships and financial aid to help fund their education. Donations allow the University to ease the financial burden for students in need, hire world-class faculty, fund research, and provide additional resources, programs and support for the next generation of Panthers.

Put your money where your heart is! Remember Chapman on Giving Tuesday and share the Panther Spirit.
