Collecting medals, trophies all in a weekend’s worth of running for President Doti

As one of the top finishers in his age group in the Chapman University Toyota of Orange 5K Run/Walk, President Jim Doti earned one of those new fierce-looking Panther Pride trophies. But he was just getting started. The next day, Sunday, Oct. 7, President Doti ran the Long Beach Half Marathon, again coming in among the top in his age category. Because he had previously run in the Surf City and Orange County races, finishing the Long Beach race earned him the special “California 1 Beach Cities Challenge Medal.” That’s what we call a heavy medal weekend!
