Convocation, new sculpture honor faculty's 'Pursuit of truth'

The outstanding work, service and the unique contributions of Chapman’s faculty will be honored Friday afternoon at the 15

Annual Faculty Honors Convocation, immediately followed by the dedication ceremony for a new sculpture,
Endless Pursuit
by metal sculpture artist Bret Price.

The new sculpture was donated by Frank Greinke, a member of the President’s Cabinet, in honor of Chapman’s faculty and its plaque will state, in part, “In gratitude to the faculty of Chapman University, whose devotion to students serves as an inspiration to the endless pursuit of truth.”

The convocation begins at 3 p.m. in the Bush Conference Center, Beckman Hall 404. The sculpture dedication will begin at 4 p.m. outdoors, at the north side of Leatherby Libraries. A reception will follow in Attallah Piazza.
