There are remarks by President Jim Doti, Dean William Hall of the College of Performing Arts, and philanthropists Ross and Phyllis Escalette. Of particular interest is the talk by guest speaker Joanne Corday Kozberg of the J. Paul Getty Trust, who spoke of the history of public art collections and the need in today’s world for both the great public art museums and the collections assembled by educational institutions like Chapman.
