Junko Takada, international student services coordinator, International Student and Scholar Services
This international admission team has faced unprecedented challenges during this pandemic as international students face additional obstacles to admission and studying in the U.S. This team has been able to act quickly to interpret new guidelines and update policies accordingly, and work with both new and current students regarding their individual situations. – Mike Pelly
Megan Howes, department assistant, Office of Admission
Megan has been answering our phones since going remote; taking calls from frustrated families & speaking with students. She provides families a wonderful first impression to campus & serves as a continued resource for returning families. – Mike Pelly
Dave Hernandez, senior programmer/analyst, IS&T
Dave has implemented many enhancements for CU Safely Back including a pop-up for a student survey, changes for Finance/Concur workflow for pandemic spending adjustments and changes for OFA on grade reporting and banked credit modification. – Helen Norris
John Bui, project manager, IS&T
John is the project manager of the project to upgrade hundreds of classrooms across campus to prepare for remote teaching. John can be credited for keeping the team on task on this challenging, ambitious and highly visible project. – Helen Norris
Patrick Rausch, technology buyer, Purchasing
Patrick has been unbelievable in his attention to finding scarce hardware. He contacts manufacturers directly and negotiates for what we need. He responds quickly to information requests and checks the supply chain multiple times a day. – Helen Norris
Jamie Wisdom, client services technician, IS&T
Jamie continues to provide tremendous support to everyone in this challenging, remote environment. Her customer services skills are stellar. She treats everyone as her top priority, while providing leadership to her colleagues. – Helen Norris
Lauren Henderson, marketing strategist, Strategic Marketing and Communication
As the marketing strategist for graduate recruitment, Lauren is pivotal in the development of year-long integrated marketing plans for each school. During the pandemic, this strategic and complex work is vital to Chapman’s future success. – Jamie Ceman
Steve Lopez, advancement systems reporting analyst, University Advancement
Steve is a proactive partner for UA colleagues and helps generate the best reports possible. He is creative, offers suggestions for criteria and new ways to think about data and reports. He is leading reporting during our implementation. – Michele Wanner
Brian White, database manager, Ticketing Services
Brian has worked hard to implement many new features to our ticketing software, AudienceView. Because of his work, there will be several new enhancements ready for our patrons when events on campus resume, whether virtually or in-person. – Tessa Jones
