For Ethan Conklin, flying out from Denver, Colo. to attend Preview Day was well worth it. Conklin, who was accepted into the Film and Television Production program, particularly enjoyed meeting other admitted students to talk about their passions, goals and shared excitement for the next chapter of their lives at Chapman.
Conklin also appreciated meeting staff and faculty, and he noted feeling the “vibrant energy” of the campus as he explored.
From the moment I arrived, I felt an overwhelming sense of welcome. Everyone, from faculty to student volunteers, was kind, open and genuinely excited to help. That warmth made the campus feel like home almost instantly. I was also impressed by how much care and dedication went into planning the day. Preview Day also made a lasting impression on local students like Analy Aguilar, who said it had been her longtime dream to study psychology at Chapman. She and her family were visibly overjoyed during the event.

Our cheering student ambassadors welcomed guests with signs and swag, letting future Panthers know they will welcome additions to the Chapman family.
Throughout the day, attendees explored the university, toured residence halls and connected with current students, faculty and staff.
Interactive presentations brought Chapman’s personalized, student-centered approach to life, while students and families were able to explore Chapman’s impressive facilities. Guests walked away with a strong sense of the energy, opportunity and community that defines Chapman.
