Chapman University School of Pharmacy Assistant Professor Amy Kang has received a grant to boost her skills as a clinical pharmacy researcher.
The American College of Clinical Pharmacy named Kang, Pharm.D., one of three recipients of its “Junior Investigator” Futures Grants, which support mentored research funding. Twenty-three people applied.
Kang’s research topic is “Assessment of Antibiotic Transition Errors from Hospitals to Skilled Nursing Facilities.” Her mentor is Loren Miller, M.D., a professor of medicine at the University of California, Los Angeles.
