Vice President of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Begins Duties July 29 – Getting in Touch

Chapman University is excited to welcome incoming Vice President of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Dr. Reginald Chhen Stewart, who begins his official work here at Chapman on July 29.

As he sets his sights on the year ahead, Stewart is eager to connect with members of the campus community and get a deeper insight into the campus culture.

Although his permanent office is still undergoing renovation, Stewart is committed to remaining as accessible as possible. Faculty and staff interested in setting up an appointment, can contact him directly via his Chapman email. For the time being, he is happy to travel to faculty and staff members’ offices or conduct the meeting virtually.

As he leads Chapman’s diversity programs and initiatives, Stewart looks forward to building lasting partnerships with colleagues across campus.

“The work of DEI is a perpetual cycle of learning and discovery and requires a tremendous amount of creativity and collaboration. I look forward to meeting colleagues with whom I will be partnering in the months and years ahead, as we work to enhance the Chapman experience for all members of the campus community.”
