New Platform Available for Chapman Events, Plus Improved Event Submission Process

As the pandemic has taught us, coordinating successful virtual events involves much more than turning on a camera. But with the right tools, it’s still possible to provide your audience with an exceptional event experience, virtually. Now, Chapman University event organizers have a user-friendly tool to support some of the most complex events: Accelevents.

If you attended the virtual Economic Forecast in December, the State of the University address a few weeks ago, or the Parent Spring Summit last week, you’re likely already somewhat familiar with this new platform.

Accelevents is an all-in-one virtual event platform available to support virtual events at Chapman. If you are planning an event that features exhibitors, sponsors, multiple sessions, participant networking, and/or requires additional security, Accelevents may be a good fit. Take a look at the Videoconferencing Comparison Chart to see how this product compares to the other available options for Chapman events.

For additional information on or questions about this tool, reach out to IS&T or Ticketing Services.

Request Event Support With Greater Ease

To begin planning your event, start with Chapman’s new streamlined Virtual Event Submission Form. Use this submission form as the starting place for all virtual events.

The Virtual Event Submission Form is not intended for event approval but as a centralized, easy way for event organizers to request support services.

This form integrates directly with 25Live, the event scheduling system managed by Event Scheduling Services. Rather than reaching out to multiple departments individually, event organizers can simply use this form to get their event planning underway. Use the event submission form to:

  • Coordinate with IS&T when tech support is needed.
  • Publish events on events.chapman.edu.
  • Get support from Ticketing Services when registration is needed.
  • Make room reservations and facilities requests when a physical space is needed (when production elements are taking place on campus).

For additional information or questions about the event submission process, please reach out to Event Scheduling.
