Equal Opportunity and Diversity Policy Updates

On May 6, 2020, the U.S. Department of Education released new Title IX regulations that govern how colleges and universities must manage certain types of student and employee reports of sexual misconduct.

To comply with these regulation changes, the University has adopted two new Interim policies, the Interim Discrimination, Harassment and Retaliation Prevention Policy for Employees (“DHR Policy”), and the Interim Policy on Sexual Harassment Prohibited by Title IX (“Title IX Policy”). As a university community, we must take proactive measures to be sure that employees are aware of, understand, and abide by these interim policies.  As such, we ask that you please visit the Equal Opportunity and Diversity Office website for information about our policies, supportive resources, and general FAQs.
