Work 101: How to Access Grammarly Premium

Ever struggle with writing? What about grammar? Grammarly can help! All Chapman University  faculty, staff and students have access to Grammarly Premium free of charge. The online writing assistant software helps strengthen your writing by offering suggestions on spelling, grammar, style and even tone. Grammarly Premium is available to faculty, staff and students on a personally-owned device or a Chapman-owned computer.

Create an Account: 

  1. Visit the Grammarly Website  
  2. Click “Join Your Organization” at the top right corner.
  3. Complete the form, using your: 
    • Name (First & Last)
    • Chapman University email address (username@chapman.edu)
    • Chapman University account password
      • Same password used to access your email account.
  4. Click Sign-up.
  5. Check your email (Inbox and spam folder) for a confirmation email and click the Verify Email link inside. It will redirect you to the right page for the next step.
  6. Enjoy using Grammarly Premium!
  7. Download the Apps (see section below)

Already Have an Account?

If you already have a free Grammarly account associated with your Chapman email: 

  1. Logout of your Individual account 
  2. Go to the Grammarly Enterprise site and log in to your account again.
  3. Download the Apps (see section below)
