Better Communication is the Goal for Working@Chapman

Two years ago, through surveys, town halls and focus groups about how to improve communication on campus, Chapman staff and faculty made it clear that they wanted more campus news. But, please: limit the number of emails. A working group led by Professor Lisa Sparks, Ph.D., made several recommendations concerning how to best keep you up-to-date with campus news while still bringing staff and faculty an enhanced Chapman Experience. A More Accessible Communication Hub

IS&T and SMC collaborated to make this happen. The result is Working@Chapman, a webpage within Chapman’s online Newsroom and a twice-weekly newsletter for faculty and staff. With Working@Chapman, campus announcements, university news and events are now easily accessible to all faculty and staff. One of the easiest things to do is to bookmark the Working@Chapman webpage where all news and announcements are housed together.

Every Monday and Wednesday faculty and staff can also expect to receive the Working@Chapman newsletter, which contains featured stories, announcements, events and media clips. It’s your one-stop shop for the latest happenings at Chapman!
