Sounds of the season to be celebrated at CoPA’s 49th annual Holiday Wassail concert

Be sure to mark your calendars for a beloved holiday tradition presented by the College of Performing Arts — the 49th annual Holiday Wassail, Friday and Saturday, Dec. 7 and 8.

This festive evening will get you in the spirit of the season through sing-alongs of holiday standards as well as musical pieces celebrating this time of year around the world.  Enjoy traditional Wassail drink, dine on delectable holiday fare, and be charmed by a concert presented by the University Choir and University Singers, Stephen Coker, conductor, University Women’s Choir, Angel Vázquez-Ramos, conductor, and the Chapman University Chamber Orchestra, Daniel Alfred Wachs, conductor. If you’ve never attended before, check out the video of last year’s performance to see what you’ve been missing.

The reception and dinner will be held at 6 p.m. in Fish Interfaith Center, with the concert at 8 p.m. in Chapman Auditorium, Memorial Hall.  Tickets are $65 per person, including reception, dinner and concert.  “Concert Only” tickets are also available: $20 general admission; $15 senior citizens and non-Chapman students.  Tickets may be purchased by calling 714-997-6812 or visiting www.chapman.edu/copa.
