‘Danube’ author Claudio Magris to open John Fowles Literary Forum at Wilkinson College

The acclaimed Italian novelist and columnist Claudio Magris will be the opening speaker in the 2012-2013 John Fowles Literary Forum Monday, Oct. 15, at 7 p.m. in Henley Reading Room of Leatherby Libraries.

Magris won the Bagutta Prize in 1987 for Danubio, which The Guardian included on its list of The 110 greatest non-fiction books ever written.
