Several students in the
Opera Chapman
program at Chapman University had the unique privilege recently of performing in the lobby of the Renee and Henry Segerstrom Concert Hall prior to several Pacific Symphony concerts in February, all part of an exciting new collaboration with the symphony.

Student soloists performed a variety of musical selections in the lobby as concert-goers arrived. In addition, mezzo-soprano, Brittany Bethurum performed the Sandman in two performances of Hansel and Gretel on March 3 as part of the Pacific Symphony Family Musical Mornings series.  Bethurum, Chelsea Chaves and Clara Chung are covers for the roles of Hansel, Gretel and the Sandman, respectively.
