The MBA students in the business 604 classes at Argyros School of Business and Economics have once again proved themselves to be productive team players.

Each semester they’re challenged by Matthew McCarter, Ph.D., assistant professor, to collaboratively fund-raise for local non-profit organizations. This year the students used blogs, social media, dinners and networking skills to ask colleagues, friends and classmates to support the causes. And they had only 48 hours to see what they could do.

They did well. The total amount raised by students in two sections of the class totaled $9,320.87 and will benefit Healthy Smiles, Orange County Children’s Therapeutic Arts Center and Halcyon Interfaith Shelter.
