Reflecting innovation and excellence in alumni programming, Margie King has been honored with four awards by the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) District VII. These prestigious industry awards include:
District awards honor outstanding accomplishments in a variety of areas, from alumni relations to periodicals and community relations projects.
- Gold in Alumni Relations–Programming for Special Constituencies for Chapman’s Los Angeles (Vermont Avenue) / Whittier Campus Reunion in October, 2010
- Gold in Alumni Relations–Student Alumni Initiatives for ambitious organization and achievements of the Student Outreach Council
- Gold in Alumni Relations–Marketing and Branding Initiatives for Chapman alumni-themed fortune cookies distributed during the International Food Fair
- Bronze in Alumni Relations–New Programming Initiatives for Chapman alumni-themed fortune cookies distributed during the International Food Fair
