President Doti addresses study of national college costs

published a story questioning the relative merits of higher education when measured against the costs of a earning a four-diploma or higher degree, based on Bureau of Labor Statistics data.

 President Jim Doti challenges the BLS statistics in an article just published in the journal of National Association of College and University Business Officers (NACUBO) titled “College Tuition and Fees at Independent Institutions: The Real Facts.” President Doti suggests that more data should be considered.

“Education is not a commodity like wheat or corn. The level and quality of services being provided to students vary across institutions and time,” President Doti writes.
