Students, alumni, faculty and staff from
Chapman University School of Law
dressed in costume, played games, organized crafts, handed out snacks and just generally hammed it up Sunday at a Halloween carnival they hosted for 80 children at
Orangewood Children’s Home
, a county home for abused and neglected children. Third-year law student Michael King even juggled while on stilts!
The children received prizes and healthy snacks and returned to their cottages at the day’s end with armloads of crafts they had made. The event was part of Chapman University Day of Service. The law school hopes to make this an annual event.
