Bradac, students take the stage at Faculty Forum Tuesday

The play will be the thing at Tuesday’s Faculty Forum when Tom Bradac, associate professor, College of Performing Arts Department of Theatre, presents “Shakespearean Theater Production” at 12:10, May 4, in Beckman 404.

Bradac will use some student volunteers to demonstrate his approach to Shakespearean acting and discuss the importance of the actor/audience relationship to producing Shakespeare’s plays.

Bradac is the founder of the Grove Shakespeare Festival (1979-1991). His current professional project is
Shakespeare Orange County
, for which he has directed
Othello, Venus & Adonis, Hamlet, Prince of Denmark,
 the award-winning
King Lear, The Merchant of Venice, Tartuffe, Measure for Measure
,
The Tempest 
and 
Macbeth.
