It’s time to start warming up for the Beyond Copenhagen Conference. Two free public lectures next week should help.
Deepa Badrinarayana, assistant professor, Chapman University School of Law, will give a talk titled “The Copenhagen Accord: Back to the BASICS of Climate Change Negotiations,” at 4:30 p.m. Thursday, April 15, in Room 244 of the Kennedy Law School building.
Menas Kafatos, Ph.D., dean of Chapman’s Schmid College of Science, will present “Climate Change, Facts and Hype: Hazards and Impacts and What does the Future hold?” at 3 p.m. Friday, April 16, Wilkinson Hall room #116. For more information, visit the Chapman at COP15 blog here.
And remember to visit the conference Web site here to register. Although it’s a three-day event, you are welcome to dip in and out for as many or as few events as your schedule allows. It’s all free, but registration is requested.
