Hair today, gone to charity

Quick! Sunscreen and a shout out to Mark D. Davis, Chapman’s fire prevention officer in the Department of Public Safety.

The newly-shorn Davis gave up his tresses at a recent St. Baldrick’s fund-raiser in Rancho Santa Margarita. St. Baldricks’s Foundation is an organization raising money to fight pediatric cancer. Volunteers shave their heads in solidarity with kids fighting cancer, and family and friends give generously – worldwide.  St. Baldrick’s Foundation funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. Government.

“My thanks to all who supported me in this event,” Davis says.
