But she’s not going too far. Just down the road in Irvine to work for an online media company as a writer/blogger/social media geek for a new Web site that launches in the spring.
Thanks to the faculty and staff who have encouraged me as I’ve moved this newsletter more fully online. You’ve been patient, kind and always eager to show me your latest book, research, concert — even cute pet. I regret I did not make more inroads into this great campus community. There are so many more people to meet. So many more stories to tell.
Thank you Chapman for the great experience.

Thanks for your help with getting my work some publicity. If you ever go into the profession of pr, let me know. Although I have published over 30 books, I have never had an agent or promoter backing me and I could use one but academicians don’t make enough money off their books to make it worth it to work for them alone. (I suppose a stable of authors might work best.)
Thank you for the kind words. It was a pleasure working with you. — Diana
I’m sorry to read that you are leaving Chapman, but wanted to wish you the very best in your new endeavor. I look forward to staying in touch and learning more about the new website.
Thanks Joan! And thanks for letting me visit your class. I will definitely let you know when the site goes live!
