Lunch at the Forum
series continues into the spring semester with three luncheons featuring outstanding faculty and alumni as keynote speakers. The luncheons are all held on Thursdays at 11:30 a.m. in Room 209 of Argyros Forum. Programs include:
- Can’t Help Singing: A Tribute to Broadway Greats, Feb. 6, will feature Jeralyn Redfeld, adjunct professor of vocal performance, bringing her personal and authentic look at Broadway greats, including stories and songs by George Gershwin, Cole Porter, Lerner and Loewe, Kurt Weill and Stephen Sondheim.
- The Real Business of the [Entertainment] Business, Mar. 6, will find Travis Knox ‘93, producer, adjunct professor in the Dodge College of Film and Media Arts, explaining exactly what a producer does and how the production of the college’s first for-profit film, Trigger came about.
- “Edutainment:” Education or Entertainment?, May 1, the series closes with William I. Cumiford, Ph.D., associate professor of history, addressing how our ideas of knowledge and learning are being affected in the Information Age as higher education meets high-tech culture.

Town & Gown is a non-profit support group for Chapman University. For 45 years it has been fulfilling its mission to integrate the campus into the surrounding community and to underwrite student scholarships and on-campus academic and aesthetic projects.
