Sophomore volleyball star earns national Division III Player of the Week honors

Sophomore middle blocker Val Geiger has been named the American Volleyball Coaches Association Division III Player of the Week for Oct. 1-7. She is the first Panther to earn the AVCA Player of the Week award. Geiger led Chapman to a pair of conference wins and into a tie for first place in the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC).

The Panthers are at home again Saturday, Oct. 13, at 6 p.m. in a crucial SCIAC match against La Verne. Read more at the Athletics website.
