Feeding Chapman's future alumni

Young Alumni Programs and Chapman Alumni Association threw a cookout in Attallah Piazza today to start this year’s graduating seniors thinking about how they can give back to Chapman as they get ready to launch into the world.

Lunch was free, but alumni t-shirts were sold for $15, with $5 of every sale going toward the senior gift. Chapman juniors, sophomores and freshmen were also welcomed at the cookout and encouraged to update the “Give a Little Bit” community service campaign with their latest hours. The campaign is pegged to Chapman’s 150th anniversary in 2011 with a goal of 150,000 hours of service.

“We’re training them to become alumni…and stay connected,” says Ryan Corry, manager, annual giving.
