Club Doc and Oxfam will present the award-winning documentary,
“FREE CRUDE: The Real Price of Oil,”
at 7 p.m. tonight in the Folino Theater at the Marion Knott Studios.
The film highlights the direct impacts of oil extraction in the Ecuadorian Amazon. Hear first-hand testimony of how these oil extraction projects have endangered the culture, livelihood and environment of Ecuador’s indigenous populations. A special presentation will be put on by members of Oxfam Chapman following the film. Refreshments will be provided and admission is free.
