Andrew Jordan, Yakir Aharonov, Daniele C. Struppa, Fabrizio Colombo, Irene Sabadini, Tomer Shushi, Jeff Tollaksen, John C. Howell and A. Nick Vamivakas recently co-published Superphenomena for Arbitrary Quantum Observables in American Physical Society.
The study discusses superoscillations, which occur when a function with limited frequency components oscillates faster in certain parts. It extends this effect to quantum operators, where a state is preselected as a superposition of bounded eigenvalues and postselected as a local position, resulting in a weak value.
