Chapman’s Master of Arts in Leadership Development (MLD) program is still accepting applications for Fall of 2024 until Aug. 1 and application fees are waived for all staff and faculty members.
MLD offers a transformative, interdisciplinary program that prepares students to engage in leadership for the common good. Through the program, students will:
- Increase self-awareness and develop a leadership vision
- Develop leadership skills to facilitate collaboration among teams with diverse perspectives
- Apply organizational and leadership theories to address social challenges
- Critically examine leadership systems and structures and create spaces for equitable organizations
Chapman’s MLD program is designed for working professionals with evening classes and is typically completed in two years. Students often take classes focusing on leadership in K-12 or higher education, learning and development, and/or non-profit Leadership. The MLD is known for personalized education with a low student-to-faculty ratio and small cohorts of working professionals, interactive, discussion-based classes and exciting opportunities like travel abroad courses.
