Chapman University retains its spot on Princeton Review’s ‘Best Colleges’ List

Chapman University is continuing its climb in top college rankings. Princeton Review announced this week that Chapman is included in its “Best 389 Colleges — 2024 Edition.” The guidebook features only about 15% of America’s four-year colleges, and praises Chapman’s graduate schools, its Argyros School of Business and Economics, and its Fowler School of Law.

Chapman was listed as No. 5 for the “Best Science Lab Facilities” and also made Princeton Review’s lists of the West “2024 Best Colleges: Region by Region.”

The schools selected for the Best Colleges list are based on student surveys. Students are charmed by Chapman’s “small school setting and SoCal vibe,” and the university “truly emphasizes personal growth, campus involvement and global citizenship, factors that undergrads here appreciate,” according to the Princeton Review’s article on Chapman University. The articles also feature comments from Chapman students, including a biochemistry major who boasts, “They offer so much help outside of the classroom and want to see you succeed. My overall academic experience has been wonderful.”

The students surveyed say they receive a “very personalized education” from the “outstanding faculty.” They described their peers as “kind, respectful, artistic, intelligent, and adventurous” and the campus as “accepting of diversity” and “very collaborative.”

Last week, Dodge College of Film and Media Arts retained its No. 4 spot on the list of best film schools in the nation by The Hollywood Reporter.
