Chapman University Experts Available for Immediate Comment on the Supreme Court’s Decision on Affirmative Action

Chapman University offers the following experts who can comment immediately following the Supreme Court’s decision on affirmative action:

He is a former U.S. Congressman, a nonpartisan expert on Congressional procedure and Constitutional law, who clerked for the Supreme Court. He teaches courses on antitrust law; the Federal Trade Commission; separation of powers; economics and the law; and politics.

Janine Kim – Wylie A. Aitken Professor of Law, Race, and Social Justic
She has expertise in criminal punishment; race and the law; discrimination; criminal law and procedure; and torts.

Mario Mainero – The Gray Family Professor of Law and Associate Dean for Bar Preparation and Academic Achievement
He is an expert in law and politics, local government, admission to the Bar, evidence and trial practice, and public employee pension law. 

James Phillips – Associate professor of law
