Chapman is Finally Coming Together! Connect, Engage and Recharge at the 2021 Staff Summit

The Office of Human Resources is happy to welcome you back to campus! This year’s Staff Summit 2021: Staff Reunion, from July 19 through July 23, will be the perfect time to get acclimated to a new hybrid and remote campus. From ice cream socials, to sustainability and wellness workshops, the week-long summit will offer opportunities to connect, engage, network and win prizes! Certain in-person events have a registration deadline of Tuesday, July 13.

The 2021 staff summit marks the first time Chapman staff will gather together since the pandemic began, and it is a welcomed and long-awaited occasion for staff.

“In the past, staff summit has been a time to gather together and celebrate each other. But this past year has pushed us to new heights,” says Martha Castrejon, HR Talent Acquisition Specialist and one of the organizers of the summit. “We’ve been challenged to innovate our operations and have learned new technologies all the while working with each other via Zoom and Teams. That is why this year we have shifted the focus to a staff reunion. Our hope is that in coming together, we will reconnect, acclimate to the changes and ultimately reclaim our workspace!”
