Two-Factor Authentication Now Mandatory for All Faculty and Staff Getting registered is fast and easy!

Over the past several months since we started working and teaching remotely, cyber attackers have become more aggressive and deceiving with their tactics.  You may have heard of other universities around the nation being severely impacted by ransomware attacks and having to pay millions of dollars to prevent their stolen information from being leaked to the public. Fortunately, Chapman has been able to avoid this kind of attack, but we are still seeing significant daily increases in malicious attempts by cyber attackers on our systems.

Due to this reason, starting immediately, Chapman University is now requiring all faculty and staff (full-time and part-time) to register their Chapman University accounts on Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) by no later than January 15, 2021. We have chosen this date to allow flexibility for our users as we navigate this semester remotely. For more information about 2FA or if you would like to begin your self-registration, please visit please visit our Two-Factor Authentication website.
