Teaching Remotely Team to Receive the 2020 Barbara Mulch Award

Technology became indispensable in keeping the university running when campus went fully remote in March, and the Teaching Remotely Team stepped in to facilitate that process.

Because of their invaluable work during these unprecedented times, the Senate Executive Board (SEB) decided to award the entire Teaching Remotely Team with the Barbara Mulch Excellence in Academic Service Award. Based on various nominations from faculty, the SEB wanted to recognize the efforts made by the IS&T staff and the TechHub whose unwavering dedication has made teaching full-time possible amidst the pandemic.

Their resolve has not gone unseen. Faculty and the entire Champan Community recognize their commitment in confronting new challenges in extraordinary ways.
