Chapman Staff Members Appointed to NASPA, Student Affairs Administrators in Higher Education

Two staff members in the Department of Student Engagement have been appointed to key positions in NASPA, Student Affairs Administrators in Higher Education (NASPA).

Shishei Tsang was recently confirmed to be on the NASPA Region VI Advisory Board as a foundation ambassador, helping to connect region VI members to the work of the NASPA Foundation.

Tim Topper was recently confirmed to be the NASPA region VI representative for NASPA’S Indigenous Peoples Knowledge Community, working to increase  understanding of and institutional commitment toward Indigenous peoples in higher education.

NASPA is the professional home for the field of student affairs and the largest international association representing the profession. NASPA’s central focus areas include: civic engagement, equity and inclusion, safety and well-being and student success.

In addition to assuming their new leadership roles in NASPA, both Tsang and Topper will continue to help carry out civic engagement initiatives and Cross-Cultural Center efforts at Chapman’s Department of Student Engagement.
