The Tech Hub Offers Support to Faculty

The sudden switch to online learning has been an unprecedented change for many of Chapman’s faculty members. Thanks to the Tech Hub, faculty have the help they need to get their courses online— and fast.

The Tech Hub team is currently available to support faculty from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. online and on the phone, throughout the transition to online courses.

Faculty members who visit the Tech Hub between 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. in person can expect to practice using online platforms and tools to receive support.

“We have been able to support many faculty members transition to teaching remotely,” says Sarem Yadegari, Tech Hub manager.

The Tech Hub team is working around the clock to ensure that faculty have the tools, training and resources necessary to make the transition to teaching and working online. Their goal is help all Chapman faculty use tools like Zoom or Canvas.

“By asking probing questions, we identify each individual’s needs and provide targeted solutions that will help them teach or work remotely as quickly as possible,” says Yadegari.

The Tech Hub encourages users to get in touch via the following methods:
