Save the date and start making your plans to join us for the Chapman Family Homecoming Celebration, Friday, Oct. 6 and Saturday, Oct. 7. This year’s festivities are jam-packed with reunions, master classes, the 8th annual Chili Cook-Off, a service project, tailgate parties, Panther Pub, football and lots more. Whether you are a current student, an alumnus, staff, faculty member or a friend of the University, Homecoming and Family Weekend has something for you!

Dodge College of Film and Media Arts’ annual screening of top student films from the previous year as determined by a panel of distinguished alumni and industry representatives.

7 – 10 p.m.               Distinguished Alumni Awards

A special reception and awards ceremony dinner to honor alumni for their remarkable professional success. Tickets are available for purchase through the Homecoming site.

8 a.m. – 5 p.m.           Socktober Saturday: Chapman Family Service Project

Join us in our inaugural Chapman Family Community Service Day by dropping off a package of new and unopened socks or underwear to our Socktober Saturday collection bins located throughout campus. Donations will benefit families in need at Mercy House Living Center.

9 – 11 a.m.                   Paws for Pancakes: Community-Wide Pancake Breakfast

The cost of admission? A new and unopened package of socks or underwear to donate. Sponsored by Ayres Hotels.  

10 – 11 a.m.                 Alumni Legacy Wall Reception

Enjoy light refreshments as we recognize alumni who have become leaders on campus by giving to the Chapman Fund.

10 a.m. – 11 a.m.         Parent Perspectives

Our panel of Chapman parents is here to lend some advice and answer questions about your student’s Chapman journey.
