“Snow” is in the forecast on the evening of Wednesday, Nov. 16, at Chapman University. Yes, really! Because that’s when the University will host its annual Winterfest and Doy’s Holiday Tree Lighting and celebration in Attallah Piazza.
The event kicks off at 5 p.m. and is free and open to the public. As is tradition, the evening includes musical performances and international holiday greetings from around the world, as well as a dramatic reading of ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas, photos with Santa and the magical snowfall that flutters down on the piazza at the evening’s conclusion. New this year is a performance by the Chapman University Big Band.
Doy’s Holiday Tree — named for Trustee Doy Henley – will also be illuminated, along with the other festive trees throughout the piazza.
See you there!
