From Ravel to Hank Williams, Fall Dance Concert goes eclectic

An eclectic evening of music and dance will be presented next week by the Department of Dance when it stages its Fall Concert, featuring the choreography of faculty with a selection of music ranging from country singer-songwriter Hank Williams to French composer Maurice Ravel.

In addition, the evening’s program will include a performance created by Liz Maxwell, associate professor of dance and concert director, that will incorporate a large cube as a set piece.

The concert will be performed in the Waltmar Theatre at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 20, through Saturday, Nov. 23, with an additional 2 p.m. matinee Nov. 23. For more information, visit the College of Performing Arts blog.
