Kori Cioca, US Coast Guard, and husband Rob in an emotional interview, from “The Invisible War,” which screens Wednesday.

Dodge College is sorry to announce that this event has been cancelled and regrets the scheduling error.

A free screening of
The Invisible War
, a groundbreaking investigative documentary about the epidemic of rape within the U.S. military is scheduled Wednesday, April 3, at 7 p.m. in Folino Theater at Dodge College of Film & Media Arts.

Oscar- and Emmy-nominated filmmaker
Kirby Dick
will host a discussion following the screening.

The film paints a startling picture of the extent of the problem-today: a female soldier in combat zones is more likely to be raped by a fellow soldier than killed by enemy fire. The Department of Defense estimates there were a staggering 19,000 violent sex crimes in the military in 2010. (Source:

  • I watched this documentary and it was very moving. It just disgusts me with whats going on out there. In 2010 19,000 violent sex crimes, This is outrageous. Something needs to be done!
