Dean Gail Stearns will lead a free mindfulness meditation course at the Fish Interfaith Center.

Are you seeking ways to be less anxious?  Would you like to cultivate positive emotions, such as compassion, in your life? Are you curious about how to start a meditation practice in your daily life?

Then the Introduction to Mindfulness course offered by Gail Stearns, Ph.D., dean of the Fish Interfaith Center and Wallace All Faiths Chapel, may be just the thing. The Monday session will be held from noon to 1 p.m. and begin today, Feb. 25, and continue through Monday, March. 18. Attendance at all four sessions is recommended.

At each session Dean Stearns will give a brief introduction on an aspect of mindfulness meditation, followed by sitting together in silence.

RSVPs are appreciated — but not required — and may be sent to
interfaith@chapman.edu
. But if you’re too busy to do that, here’s your first assignment – relax and just show up for drop in.
