Hillel will light the outdoor menorah on campus at its annual Hanukkah party Monday, Dec. 10.

Join the festivities, play dreidel and get your own mini menorah when Chapman University’s Hillel hosts its annual Hanukkah celebration Monday, Dec. 10, at Fish Interfaith Center. The fun starts at 5:30 p.m. and all are invited.

The festive Jewish holiday begins at sunset Saturday, Dec. 8, and ends at nightfall Sunday, Dec. 16. Hanukkah, sometimes spelled Chanukah, is the Jewish Festival of Lights, an eight-day commemoration of rededication of the Temple by the Maccabees after their victory over the Syrians.
