Cross country stand out crushes personal record to place in top-50 at West Regionals

A strong effort and another personal record by Chapman University freshman runner Chris Reid was good enough for 43rd place as six Panthers competed at the NCAA Division III West Region Championships for men’s and women’s cross country on Saturday at the Oak Knoll Golf Course, hosted by Willamette University (Ore.). Reid crushed his previous best in the 8K with a finish of 25:57.9 – more than a full minute better than his time of 27:30.3 at Prado Park for the SCIAC Championships two weeks ago.
