Theater students find ‘Love’ and technology know-how with Cirque du Soleil

Trevor Weil ’12, Michael Lee ’13, Steven Bravek ’13 and Jason Goussak ’14 were selected to participate in the United States Institute for Theatre Technology (USITT) in Las Vegas.

The program, hosted jointly by Cirque du Soleil and USITT, hosted a total of 32 students from across the country. Students were assigned to one of several areas of study, including automation, projections, rigging or audio. In addition to the classes, students shadowed a Cirque du Soleil employee during two performances.
