Robert Legato, the Oscar-winning special effects supervisor for both Titanic and Hugo, will talk about the technology and art of his work at a free lecture scheduled at 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 11, in Folino Theater at the Dodge College of Film and Media Arts.  Admission is free.

Legato is Hollywood’s premier VFX talent, winning the Academy Award in 1998 for his work on Titanic and again in 2012 for Hugo. Among his other credits are Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone and Apollo 13.
